Information for Students
The ACE of Greater Boston program runs from late October to early March. Students will attend a weekly session where they will be on a team of about 15-30 students and 15-20 mentors. The mentors are made up of working professionals in the architecture, engineering, and construction industry. Students will learn the basics of the different disciplines in the A-C-E industry. They will then work together on a hypothetical design project learning the real-life steps professionals take to take a building project from conception to final completion.
Teams meet weekly for about two hours after school at a host firm or university throughout Boston or Cambridge. We also plan to provide a remote team option this year as well.

The Student Experience
“The best part of ACE is the mentorship. My mentors have been invaluable in guiding me through architecture applications, career paths, and technical skills I’ve already applied in real-world experiences. ACE has given me hands-on learning and a clear roadmap for pursuing architecture.” Addy – ACE 2025 Senior
“My experience with my ACE mentors has been transformative. My mentors provided invaluable guidance, helping me draft a master plan and highlighting the essential components to include in my research. Their mentorship not only clarified the engineering process but also offered a glimpse into the daily life of a civil engineer, a profession I previously knew very little about.” William – ACE Senior 2025
